The Holiday Season

This time of year can be very depressing for some people. It is supposed to be a cheerful time of year to celebrate and be jolly, but there are many people out there who don’t get to enjoy the benefits of the holiday season. If you are reading this and you are lucky enough to be able to celebrate with your friends and/or family you should feel privileged. Sure, people go overboard with the Christmas music and decorations, but that isn’t really what matters after-all. We should use this as a time for giving, helping, and loving one another. I want to challenge everyone who reads this to commit a random act of kindness. You never know whose day you might be making, or how big of an impact you may have on their life. Until next time. Happy Holidays!

Web 2.0 and Social Media Marketing

Recently I decided to try to enlist the help of Facebook fan pages and twitter to do some marketing for Vensure. So far it seems to be fairly successful gaining 18 fans and 14 followers in about 24 hours. I’m still looking for more ways to spread the word and gain fans and followers ensuring Vensure a fair share of second-hand advertising.

Back to Blogging

The domain name should be fixed shortly to work as http://www.thejoenichols.com instead of http://www.breakforge.com/blog.

This isn’t my first time in the blogging world, but unfortunately my previous blogs got deleted during the server transfer, so I am starting over. Generally my blogs do not have much of a common theme except that it is all stuff I am interested in and feel is worth being talked about.  If you intent to keep up with my blog posts you can expect to read about anything from science and technology, to movies, books, music, and conspiracy theories.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my little piece of the internet. Feel free to bookmark me and check back from time to time or subscribe to the RSS feed.
